Top Honors Awarded in Iowa State Fair Dorset Sheep Show

DES MOINES, IA (08/22/2016)(readMedia)-- Dennis Loenser of Geneseo, Ill. earned top honors in the Dorset Sheep Show judged Wednesday at the 2016 Iowa State Fair. Loenser claimed the Champion Ewe Banner and Reserve Champion Ram Banner, while also winning first place in the Premier Exhibitor contest.

Hoskins Stock Farm of Jefferson exhibited the Champion Ram, Reserve Champion Ewe and earned second place in the Premier Exhibitor contest.

Melendy Dorsets of Dumont earned third place Premier Exhibitor.

The Premier Exhibitor award is presented to the exhibitor earning the highest point total in individual classes of competition.
