Top Honors Awarded in Iowa State Fair Dorset Sheep Show

DES MOINES, IA (08/28/2017) (readMedia)-- Hoskins Stock Farm of Jefferson earned top honors in the Dorset Sheep Show judged Wednesday, August 16 at the 2017 Iowa State Fair. Hoskins Stock Farm claimed the Champion and Reserve Champion Ewe Banner and Champion Ram Banner. The Farm also won second place in the Premier Exhibitor contest.

Dennis Loenser of Geneseo, Ill., exhibited the Reserve Champion Ram and claimed first place in the Premier Exhibitor contest.

MM Dorsets of Camp Point, Ill., earned third place Premier Exhibitor.

The Premier Exhibitor award is presented to the exhibitor earning the highest point total in individual classes of competition.
