Top Sheep Chosen at Iowa State Fair Shropshire Show

DES MOINES, IA (09/11/2018) (readMedia)-- Rueber Shropshires of Marshalltown claimed Champion Ram, Reserve Champion Ewe and first place Premier Exhibitor honors in the Shropshire Sheep show at the 2018 Iowa State Fair.

SS Shrops from Davenport earned Champion Ewe status and 2nd place Premier Exhibitor, while WEG and 1-80 Flocks of Geneva, Neb. took home the Reserve Champion Ram.

Sugar Ridge Ranch of Viroqua, Wis., claimed third place in the Premier Exhibitor contest.

The Premier Exhibitor award is given to the exhibitor who scores the most points based upon class placings during the breed's show.
