Traffic Alert Update: Thruway Announces I-87 Northbound Lanes Near Interchange 20 (Saugerties) Now Open
ALBANY, NY (06/26/2009)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority has announced that all northbound lanes along I-87 near Interchange 20 (Saugerties) have reopened.
All lanes were blocked for several hours following a multi-vehicle accident that occurred earlier this morning.
The Authority had activated a Dynamic Message Sign Board, Highway Advisory Radio and issued a TRANSalert to subscribers to notify them of the incident and resulting delays.
The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during the incident.

The Authority offers a free email service called TRANSalert to its customers via email or text messaging to inform them of major unscheduled incidents that may affect their travel on the Thruway.
