Traffic Pattern Switch on Route 88 in Centerville Borough
NEW STANTON, PA (07/22/2010)(readMedia)-- The Pennsylvania Turnpike alerts motorists of a traffic pattern switch on Route 88/SR 2089 on the southern end of the 51J section of the Uniontown to Brownsville Phase 2 project of the Mon Fayette Expressway in the area of the California Interchange to Nobles Road, Route 40 to Malden Road to a half mile east of Turnpike 43.
The contractor, Trumbull Corporation, will be switching northbound traffic from the temporary lanes to the newly constructed roadway on Route 88 on July 28; between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Southbound traffic will be switched on August 4, between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Motorist can expect possible 15 minute stoppages on each day to enable crews to complete the line painting and eradication on the new roadway. New vehicle width restrictions of 10 foot wide maximum will be in place until further notice.
