Traffic Update:
All Eastbound Lanes Open along I-90 Between Interchange 27 (Amsterdam) and Interchange 26 (Schenectady/I-890)
ALBANY, NY (10/02/2009)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority has announced that all eastbound lanes along I-90, between Interchange 27 (Amsterdam) and Interchange 26 (Schenectady/I-890), have been reopened to traffic. The left lane eastbound had been closed due to a tandem-trailer accident at milepost 165.0.
The Authority had activated its Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) to advise motorists of the closure. The Authority has also issued TRANSalerts to subscribers.
The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this incident.
