Travel Advisory: Thruway Authority Announces Eastbound Delays Between Interchanges 54 and 53 Have Cleared
ALBANY, NY (01/28/2010)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority has announced that the eastbound delays that took place earlier this evening between Interchange 54 (West Seneca) and Interchange 53 (Buffalo-Downtown) have cleared and all lanes are open.
A jack-knifed tractor trailer had caused the right and center lanes to be blocked near MP 427.6 and motorists were encouraged to seek alternate routes. All eastbound lanes are now open.
The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during the temporary lane closures.
