Trey Price Presents Summer Research Project at Hampden-Sydney

HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, VA (09/16/2013)(readMedia)-- Hampden-Sydney College senior Donophan Charles Price III recently presented his Summer Research Project in a public presentation at the College. Trey is one of a select group of students who undertake summer research in conjunction with members of the Hampden-Sydney faculty. Each project is evaluated on its originality, on the thoroughness of its research methods, and on the quality of its findings.

Trey's project was entitled, "Restoring Equal Opportunities in Secondary Education: An Analysis of Racial Classification and Categorization within the American Institutions of Higher Learning." A government major, he is a graduate of Northgate High School and is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Donophan C. Price II of Newnan.

A private college for men, Hampden-Sydney is ranked nationally in the top 100 of liberal arts colleges by U.S. News & World Report. The College is known for its liberal arts curriculum, the Honor Code which stresses individual and collective responsibility, and a focus on the education of young men.
