Truth Pharm to Host 11th Annual Trail of Truth

Truth Pharm, joined by families who have lost loved ones to substance use-related causes, community members, advocates, and local organizations from across New York State.

The Trail of Truth features our Memorial Cemetery, healing activities, speakers and performers, a march and a live performance art piece.

The day offers opportunities for connection, healing, and advocacy. Truth Pharm and other local organizations will provide a variety of activities, including resource tabling, free Narcan training, tombstone painting, memorial art activities, a grief share circle, face painting, food vendors, and merchandise sales.

Event Timeline

12:00–5 p.m. — Memorial Cemetery & Activities at Broome County Courthouse

5:00–6:00 p.m. — Speakers and Performers

6:00–7:00 p.m. — Memorial March to Governmental Plaza & Live Performance Art Piece

The event is supported by a generous grant from the New York State Department of Health Office of Drug User Health in order to support all grieving families across New York State.

Trail of Truth uses art, remembrance, and community action to raise awareness about the broad impacts of substance use-related deaths while calling for immediate access to treatment, an end to discrimination in medical care, and responsible utilization of opioid settlement funds. Truth Pharm invites the wider community to join us for all or part of the day.
