Twenty students participate in 2013-14 Lavender Jazz

Twenty Goshen College students are members of Lavender Jazz, Goshen College's big band, for the 2013-14 school year. Directed by Christopher Fashun, assistant professor of music, the group plays classic jazz standards and styles, such as swing, blues, world beat, be-bop, hard bop, New Orleans/Dixieland and fusion. Lavender Jazz performs two concerts in Sauder Concert Hall each academic year, as well as other performances in a variety of settings both on and off-campus.
