Two Hollywood Actors Present Class in Staunton

There is Limited Space left in the Acting Technique & Scene Study For Adults Class

STAUNTON, VA (05/19/2010)(readMedia)-- Staunton Parks and Recreation Department will offer the class, Acting Technique & Scene Study For Adults. Two Hollywood actors with over 25 years of professional acting experience are ready to share what they have learned with the Staunton community. They will show actors how to create dynamic characters by applying a variety of tools and techniques. Through direction, script analysis and the actors own life expereinces, the participants will learn how to overcome personal obstacles and become an engaging and truthful performer.

Straight from Hollywood, actors Lana Young and Jon Emm have over 25 years of professional acting experience on the stage and in front of camera. Their classroom is a safe environment for focused and purposeful play. They are both still working actors and run their Hollywood Theatre Lab in Charlottesville and on location. The cost of the class is $110 for 4 weeks on Tuesdays starting June 8th from 6-8pm at the Nelson Street Teen Center. There is also and 8 week class that begins June 8 and the cost is $210.
