Two PA Turnpike Stretches Reopen in Western PA
Westbound detour lifted at Breezewood; eastbound detour lifted at Beaver Valley.
The two Pennsylvania Turnpike closures implemented earlier today in western Pennsylvania have both been lifted as of 7:20 p.m. The detours were in place to route travelers around two separate Turnpike incident scenes.
Westbound Turnpike traffic had been diverted off at the Breezewood Exit #161, because of an ongoing operation to assist multiple stranded motorists near Somerset Exit #110. Eastbound traffic had been diverted off at the Beaver Valley Exit #13 due to an accident involving two tractor-trailer trucks.
