U of M Crookston Students Present at Northland Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine conference

University of Minnesota Crookston Junior Nicole Mazour, a health sciences major from Moorhead, Minn., and sophomore Ryan Ratcliff, an exercise science and wellness major from Bloomer, Wis., took part in the Northland Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine conference in early April at St. Catherine University in St. Paul.

Their research, "Health-Related Factors and Academic Performance in College Students," was mentored by Professor Joseph Shostell and Assistant Professor Anita Gust from the Math, Science, and Technolgoy Department. The research was partially funded through the University of Minnesota Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program.
