UNH student Alyssa Mixon awarded a University Research Grant

University of New Hampshire student Alyssa Mixon, daughter of Lorraine and Jim Mixon of Bedford, N.H., was awarded a grant through the University Research Opportunities Program to investigate Zostera marina (eelgrass) resilience through genetic diversity in the New England and New York coastal areas. Mixon is a senior pursuing a dual degree in general biology and classics with a pre-med concentration.
