UPDATE - Illinois Adjutant General to talk sexual assault prevention in military with Illinois crisis centers

SPRINGFIELD, IL (03/15/2016)(readMedia)-- The Adjutant General of the Illinois National Guard, Maj. Gen. Richard Hayes, Jr., will discuss sexual assault prevention in the Illinois National Guard and sign a memorandum of understanding with the Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault (ICASA).

WHAT: • Maj. Gen. Hayes will speak and sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the ICASA in regards to the Illinois National Guard’s efforts to combat sexual assaults in the military. This MOU provides guidance and understanding between the Illinois National Guard and crisis centers throughout Illinois. It also provides insight into the care and advocacy an Illinois National Guard Service Member receives and promotes communication to better assess and support victim needs.
