USC Aiken Classes Cancelled for Friday, Sept. 14

AIKEN, SC (09/13/2018) USC Aiken continues to work with S.C. law enforcement and emergency management officials to monitor the path and potential impact of Hurricane Florence.

Local areas may experience high winds, flash flooding and adverse traveling conditions midday Friday. To give students the greatest opportunity to travel to their safe havens as early as possible, USC Aiken classes and activities, including athletic events, scheduled for Friday, Sept. 14, are cancelled.

The university will remain open Friday, Sept. 14. Staff should report as planned unless alternate arrangements are made with their supervisors.

Services will be available for resident students, including: University Police, the cafeteria, housing, the Gregg-Graniteville Library, and the Wellness Center.
