USC Aiken Classes Cancelled for Thursday, Oct. 11

AIKEN, SC (10/10/2018) The University of South Carolina Aiken continues to work with S.C. law enforcement and emergency management officials to monitor the path and potential impact of Hurricane Michael.

Based on current forecasts, all University of South Carolina Aiken classes will be canceled for Thursday, Oct. 11.

Activities are suspended from 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 10 to Thursday, Oct. 11 at 6 p.m.

The University of South Carolina Aiken Children's Center will be closed on Thursday, October 11.

University offices will remain open Thursday, Oct. 11. Essential personnel should report as scheduled. All other staff should monitor conditions and report if it is safe to travel.

All classes and activities are expected to resume and be conducted as planned Friday, Oct. 12, including the Children's Center.
