AIKEN, SC (12/16/2018) The University of South Carolina Aiken Office of Admissions recently hosted school counselors from around the state, thanking them for their support of college-bound students.
"School counselors are tremendous partners for USC Aiken and our prospective students and their families," said Andrew Hendrix, USC Aiken admissions director.
"These dedicated men and women not only prepare future Pacers but assist any high school student planning to go to college. Preparation is key, and they help break the process down into a manageable timeline."
"We are particularly grateful for the support they give our incoming first-generation students."
Currently 40% of the USC Aiken student body are the first in their families to go to college.
