United Water Owego-Nichols September 15 Rate Hearings Postponed

Hearings to be Rescheduled, As Soon As Practicable

ALBANY, NY (09/09/2011)(readMedia)-- The New York State Public Service Commission today announced the postponement of public statement hearings due to significant flooding in the Owego-Nichols area. The hearings concerned a proposal by United Water Owego-Nichols Inc. (Case 11-W-0082) to increase water rates. The hearings were scheduled to be held before an Administrative Law Judge on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., Tioga Co. Municipal Building, Edward D. Hubbard Auditorium, 56 Main Street, Owego, New York. The hearings will be rescheduled, as soon as practicable.
