Unshackle Upstate to Unveil an Aggressive New Campaign

ROCHESTER, NY (12/14/2009)(readMedia)-- Disappointed and discouraged by a year of missed opportunities and damaging mistakes by our New York state government, Unshackle Upstate is stepping up its advocacy with a new and aggressive social media campaign.

Join us for a webinar news conference, our way of giving you an indepth view of the campaign, aimed at educating citizens on the issues and empowering them to make informed and beneficial choices in next year's statewide elections, which includes all 212 seats in the Legislature. The new platform, the first of its kind in New York, incorporates the website, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other platforms, and will be a major new tool to give taxpayers and employers greater access to their elected officials and hold them accountable for the dysfunction within state government.
