VIC staff will lead children through a series of activities from 1-4 p.m. A snowshoe walk will kick off at 1 p.m., followed by story time at 2 p.m. The VIC staff will then lead children in making Christmas-themed ornaments. Thursdays, Jan. 5, 12, 19 and 26; Feb. 16 and 23; and March 1, 8, 15 and 22 -- "Little Bobcat"
VIC staff will lead a series of programs for 3-to-5 year olds and their parents. Activities will focus on the local flora and fauna around the VIC. Sessions meet Thursdays from 10 a.m.–noon. $2/session for members of the Adirondack Park Institute (API); $5/session for those who have not yet joined. Tuesday, Dec. 27 through Friday, Dec. 30; and Tuesday, Feb. 21 -- No-School Day Programs
VIC staff will lead a series of nature programs for 6-to-10 year olds during the December and Presidents Day breaks. Children will spend time outdoors each day, learning about the world of winter and creating arts and crafts. Sessions meet from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Please come with a lunch and warm clothes; snowshoes and snacks are provided. $20/day for API members; $25/day for those who have not yet joined. $90 for all four days during December break.
