Vassalboro resident Evert Fowle elected Student Government Assoc. Honor Council Representative at CT College
NEW LONDON, CT (05/18/2011)(readMedia)-- Evert Fowle, a freshman at Connecticut College, has been elected Student Government Association (SGA) honor council representative for the 2011-2012 academic year.
The student honor council, comprised of representatives elected from each class, reviews student violations of the Connecticut College honor code and sets penalties. The honor code is a system based on trust and mutual respect that covers all academic and social interactions at the College.
Fowle is a 2010 graduate of Erskine Academy, South China, and is the son of Lori and Evert Fowle, II of Vassalboro.
The Connecticut College SGA considers issues and formulates policies in areas primarily or exclusively involving the student body at Connecticut College and seeks to extend channels of communication, increase areas of cooperation and foster a greater acceptance of shared responsibility between faculty, administration and students.
