Ventriloquist Megan Piphus will perform at Lebanon Valley College on Nov. 21 at 9 p.m.

ANNVILLE, PA (10/31/2014)(readMedia)-- Only two performers remain in Lebanon Valley College's Friday Night Comedy Series. Ventriloquist Megan Piphus will perform Friday, Nov. 21 at 9 p.m. in Leedy Theater of the Mund College Center. The show is free and open to the public.

At the age of 10, Megan Piphus was introduced to ventriloquism. After a year of mastering her skill, she began competing at the International Festival of Christian Puppetry and Ventriloquism (I-FEST), winning three gold medals in musical ventriloquism competitions.

In 2008, Piphus was featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show: The World's Smartest and Most Talented Kids. She was chosen to be a contestant on America's Got Talent YouTube Contest and as a result gained national exposure. She appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno as a ventriloquist on a segment called "Does This Thrill Bill" with William Shatner.

The Friday Night Comedy Series at Lebanon Valley College is sponsored by the Student Programming Board and includes an End of the Year Bash with a performer to be announced, later this fall.
