Meeting The Need
ALBANY, NY (12/21/2020) (readMedia)-- Pastor Charlie had to close down two of his churches because of Covid and this Christmas there will be no special services but there will be a Merry Christmas for many struggling at this time.
Pastor Charlie recieved a call from one of the family members of one of the victims of this summers Gun violence asking for help this Christmas.
So he decided to help any family that was a victim of this summers Gun violence.
As the church prepares to give Christmas to many of the area's group homes it has added the families on their list for this year.
Every girl at St. Ann's will receive 15 Gifts and one very special gift that they asked for this Christmas.
Every boy at LaSalle institute will receive the same.
Every boy and girl at Vanderhyden in Troy will receive the same.
Every family at Schuyler Inn will receive a full Christmas.
Every Family at the Marelack Shelter will recieve Christmas.
This year in the midst of a shutdown the church will do more for foster and at risk families then ever before. Right now the church is working non stop to ensure these children and teens have the best Christmas ever.
Any families that lost a loved one from Gun Violence should call Victorg Church 518-857-0726. To request gifts. Now through Christmas Eve.
