Victory Christian Church Help Rescue Orphans from Port Au Prince

ALBANY, NY (02/14/2011)(readMedia)-- Since April, 2010 Pastor Charlie Muller of Victory Christian Church in Albany, had committed to rescue 27 orphans in Haiti. The plan, is to move the orphans from Port Au Prince to Port Salute where the container VCC is shipping will finally come to rest. Over $80,000 in goods and supplies as well as the freight cost have gone into getting this container to those in dire need. The container, upon reaching Port Salute, will be converted into a fishing market, an internet cafe, a tire shop and a scooter taxi service. These businesses will help supply the funds and food necessary to sustain the orphans.

Victory Christian Church's container will be loaded and shipped on Tuesday, Feb. 15 at 9 a.m. from the Jezreel at 10 Interstate Ave., Albany.
