Victory Church Offering Reward For Albany Shootings

ALBANY, NY (05/21/2021) (readMedia)-- Victory Church had already planned it's first anti violence event for Saturday May 22 10 AM at Victoryy Albany Church located at 118 Quail St.

Lee Rouson former 2 time NFL super bowl winner is speaking at a 10 AM event at the church then 12:30 he will be speaking at Hoods House Of Hoops. Where he will speak to inner city youth. Pastor Charlie will be presenting a check to Jamel Hood for his work with inner city youth for summer programming.

With the shootings on First and Quail a Five Thousand Dollar reward will be in place throughout the summer.

The shots fired today went into the JC Club.

The goal for the church is to join all positive programs together and work to towards a effective way of shutting down some of this violence.

Pastor Charlie will be meeting with the police chief to once again show him the crime happening on this corner. This will be the third effort to see this violent corner shut down.
