STAUNTON, VA (10/24/2013)(readMedia)-- On September 1, 2013, Samantha Kelley officially joined the Corps of Cadets at the Virginia Women's Institute for Leadership (VWIL) of Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia, during the annual Induction Parade.
As the only all-female Corps of Cadets in the nation, VWIL is the premier collegiate-level leadership program for young women. The Corps of Cadets is organized according to military structure, and its comprehensive program builds tomorrow's leaders in military and civilian service. VWIL is Virginia's most ethnically diverse student corps and it combines academics, physical training, leadership practice, military training, and co-curricular activities.
