WAMC Announces Summer Lineup for Popular On The Road Series

The new programming and partnership initiative drives public engagement, community conversations, and first-person shared experiences throughout the Northeast.

With sold-out events and strong audience feedback from its spring events, WAMC On The Road is helping deepen WAMC's connections with listeners-right where they live. From thought-provoking conversations and cultural roundtables to unforgettable musical performances, this summer's lineup offers a diverse slate representative of the WAMC community.

Summer Schedule Highlights

The Book Show in Kinderhook

  • June 18 – Kinderhook Books, Kinderhook, NY
  • Joe Donahue talks with author Chris Gibson in the Wine Garden about The Spirit of Philadelphia.

The Egg in Albany

  • June 20 – The Egg, Albany, NY
  • Dionne Warwick headlines a farewell celebration before the venue closes for renovations.

Van Dyck Music Club in Schenectady

  • June 26 – The Van Dyck Music Club, Schenectady, NY
  • A live recording featuring the Joe Barna Quartet with Grammy-winner Ralph Lalama.

The Albany Symphony: Water Music NY: More Voices

  • WAMC On the Road hosts a live broadcast highlighting the past, present, and future of the Erie Canal.

The Roundtable Panel in Pittsfield

The New Mastersounds at Lark Hall
