PADUCAH, KY (11/15/2017) West Kentucky Community and Technical College's Paducah School of Art and Design (PSAD) invites the public to its seventh annual Holiday Art Sale in the college's Clemens Fine Arts Center Gallery December 2-3.

The Holiday Art Sale will be open in the gallery Saturday, December 2 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, December 3 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Providing the opportunity to purchase unique works of art by students and faculty of PSAD as gifts or collectibles, the annual sale includes hundreds of artworks including ceramics, photography, painting, drawing, sculpture, jewelry and fiber art. Sales support individual students, as well as student enrichment activities presented by PSAD's Art and Design Club.

"This event is a wonderful tradition that allows community members to purchase works of art at gift-giving prices, while giving PSAD a mid-year opportunity to showcase the quality and diversity of work produced by our students and faculty," said PSAD Dean Paul Aho. "The art pieces are both affordable and offer one-of-a-kind gifts you can't get anywhere else."

Following Sunday's art sale, the WKCTC Community Chorus Holiday Concert will begin in the Clemens Fine Arts Center Theatre at 2 p.m.

PSAD, a division of West Kentucky Community and Technical College, offers an Associate in Fine Arts degree in Visual Art and an Associate in Applied Science degree and certificate programs in Visual Communication: Multimedia, as well as studio art classes for students of all levels and disciplines. Classes are offered on WKCTC's campus, 905 Harrison Street and 919 Madison Street.
