PADUCAH, KY (02/09/2018) West Kentucky Community and Technical College's Paducah School of Art and Design (PSAD) will host a selection of photographs by Dennis Dreyer in celebration of diversity initiatives at WKCTC and the 2018 Chinese New Year.

Taken during his travels to China in October 2016, the images include photos of people and places in the cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Xian, Hong Kong and Gulin. The photographs will be on display at PSAD's 2D and Graphic Design Building at 905 Harrison Street in Paducah's Lower Town Arts District through February 23.

"Like other advanced students in the photography program at PSAD, Denny has built upon skills he possessed upon entering our classes to emerge among our most creative and technically capable students," said PSAD director Paul Aho. "A retired engineer, he has the reasoning and processing skills to support his image making and like other non-traditional students within our programs, has the resources, time, and life experiences to travel and create meaningful work."

WKCTC's PSAD offers an associate in fine arts degree in visual art and an associate in applied science degree and certificate programs in visual communication: multimedia, as well as studio art classes for students of all levels and disciplines. Classes are offered on WKCTC's campus and at the PSAD locations at 905 Harrison Street and 919 Madison Street.
