PADUCAH, KY (10/31/2018) West Kentucky Community and Technical College's Paducah School of Art and Design (PSAD) will open "Oil and Clay-works by Tanya Neitzke and Rob Lorenz" with a free reception November 8 from 5-6:30 p.m. in the Bill Ford Gallery. The gallery is located in the 2D and Graphic Design Building at 905 Harrison Street.

"Oil and Clay" is complemented by an exhibition of paintings by PSAD alumnus Meagan Truitt in the downstairs Alcove Gallery. Truitt earned an associate in fine art degree with a 4.0 GPA, graduating with honors in the visual arts from WKCTC in May 2018. She was one of the student speakers at the college's spring commencement.

"With PSAD celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, we have turned our gaze inward, focusing our exhibition program on the work of individuals and groups with ties to the art school" says PSAD Director Paul Aho. "Oil and Clay showcases the works of two key members of our faculty, with Tanya having been awarded a full-time position this year after several years as an adjunct instructor, and Rob leading our ceramics program as an adjunct instructor. Like all of our faculty, they are outstanding artists as well as teachers and we are proud to recognize them as such."

Gallery hours for the Bill Ford Gallery are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
