Wappingers Falls' Jock Gilchrist Published in 'The Collegiate Scholar'

College Junior Writes Article for National Society of Collegiate Scholars

NEWARK, DE (10/13/2011)(readMedia)-- Jock Gilchrist, a junior neuroscience major in the University of Delaware's Honors Program, has had an article published in the fall 2011 issue of The Collegiate Scholar, an online publication produced by the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS).

Gilchrist is from Wappingers Falls, N.Y.

His article, "Caring for Our Collective Alma Mater," has been published in the publication's College Life category. Members can submit their work to a total of six categories and are not limited to publication in one category.

"NSCS is happy to provide members like him with an opportunity to be published," Steve Loflin, CEO and founder of NSCS, said. "We hope that Gilchrist's work will inspire other members to share their creativity with the NSCS community and beyond."

The Collegiate Scholar recognizes members who combine their creative and academic pursuits. The online publication comes out three times a year: fall, spring and summer.
