MILTON , MA (11/08/2012)(readMedia)-- Curry College is pleased to announce Wayland, MA resident Ari Goldberg, son of Alison and Eric Goldberg, has landed a role in Curry Theatre's Fall Main Stage production. Currently a sophomore majoring in Communication, and serving as the Supervisory Board's Props manager, Ari has been seen on the Curry Theatre stage in Almost, Maine, Twisted Tales, and just recently in The Sixth Annual New Plays Festival. He makes his Main Stage debut in this production of Alan Ayckbourn's Woman in Mind, playing Rick, the wayward son.
Knighted by Queen Elizabeth in 1997, Sir Alan Ayckbourn is the most widely produced playwright in England, second only to William Shakespeare. His darkly humorous Woman in Mind sees the action of the play through the eyes of its protagonist, as her mundane reality collides with her active fantasy life. Driving her to this mad distraction is her endlessly accusatory son, Rick, relentlessly played by Mr. Goldberg in the world of this dark and unpredictable comedy.
This wildly unpredictable comedy tumbles across the stage on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday; Dec 1st through 4th at 7:30 p.m. at Curry College, in the Oscar B. and Frances A. Keith Auditorium at the Academic and Performance Center on the Milton Campus, 1071 Blue Hill Avenue, Milton, MA. Tickets are $10 and may be reserved at 617-333-2259 (Option 2).
