Weather Delays arrival of 3 CH-47F helicopters at Rochester Army National Guard Flight Facility

ROCHESTER, NY (10/29/2014)(readMedia)-- Poor weather has further delayed the arrival of three of the latest model "Chinook" helicopters at the Army Aviation Support Facility at the Rochester International Airport. The helicopters are now expected to arrive around 6:20 p.m. at the flight facility.

The three CH-47F helicopters were iniitally expected to arrive at 3 p.m. after a flight from Savannah, Georgia.

Members of the press are invited to observe the arrive of the three CH-47F helicopters assigned to Detachment 1 of Company B 3rd Battalion 126th Aviation and speak with Army National Guard aviators about this latest addition to the New York National Guard aircraft inventory at the Army Aviation Support Facility, 76 Patriot Way Rochester, NY 14624
