Wheatland Chorale presents "Glad Tidings!" holiday concert Dec. 9, 10 and 11

ELIZABETHTOWN, PA (11/29/2011)(readMedia)-- Wheatland Chorale, celebrating 25 years and a new artistic partnership with Elizabethtown College, performs a seasonal "Glad Tidings!" concert Dec. 9, 10 and 11, highlighting J.S. Bach's Christmas Eve Magnificat and an array of holiday offerings. An instrumental ensemble accompanies the Chorale during this holiday concert series.
Wheatland Chorale presents its first holiday concert at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at Atonement Lutheran Church, 5 Wyomissing Blvd., Wyomissing, Pa. The following day, Dec. 10, the Chorale performs at 8 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 2215 Brandywine Lane, York, Pa. And rounding out the holiday concert series is a performance at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, at First Presbyterian Church, 140 East Orange St., Lancaster, Pa.
Tickets -- $18 in advance, $20 at the door and $5 for students with ID -- are available online or at 1-800-838-3006.
Beginning in spring 2012, the Wheatland Chorale will perform concerts at Elizabethtown College's Leffler Chapel and Performance Center. Concerts will take place several times throughout the academic year. Watch the Elizabethtown College events page for concert dates.
