Wheaton College (Ill.) Jess Bosse is named the CCIW's Defensive Player of the Week in volleyball

Wheaton senior Jess Bosse has been named this week's College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week by the conference office.

Bosse helped lead Wheaton to a 3-0 record at the Ripon College Quad as the Thunder won the tournament, posting its first 3-0 start to a season in more than 20 years. The senior tallied a team and match high 19 digs last Friday in a season-opening 3-0 victory at Ripon. In Saturday's 3-0 victory againast Marian, she again led all players with 21 digs and Bosse also recorded 14 service reception attempts without an error in the win. She capped off Wheaton's 3-0 weekend with 16 digs in a 3-0 victory against Finlandia.
