White Plains Attorney Barbara Hart Named Chair of State Bar's Antitrust Law Section

ALBANY, NY (01/28/2014)(readMedia)-- Barbara J. Hart of White Plains is the new chair of the 513–member Antitrust Law Section of the New York State Bar Association.

Hart is the chief operating officer and head of Lowey Dannenberg Cohen & Hart's securities litigation practice. She represents a broad range of clients in complex class action litigation, with a particular emphasis on securities and antitrust litigation.

A 20-year member of the State Bar Association, Hart most recently was vice-chair of the Antitrust Law Section.

Hart is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and earned her law degree from Fordham University School of Law. She is a resident of Croton-on-Hudson.

The 75,000-member New York State Bar Association is the largest voluntary state bar association in the nation. It was founded in 1876.
