Richard Trivisonno

COLUMBUS OH (08/13/2014)(readMedia)-- Richard Trivisonno, director of Customer Logistics and Community Affairs at Lincoln Electric Company, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the American Lung Association of the Midland States. Based in Columbus OH, ALAMS provides programs and services to the residents of Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky and Tennessee.

Trivisonno, a resident of Wickliffe OH, has been with Lincoln Electric in various capacities since 1979 and has held his current position since 1994.

He is a graduate of Cleveland State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting and received his MBA from Case Western Reserve University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

A long-time volunteer for the American Lung Association in northeast Ohio, Trivisonno has also served on the board of directors of United Way, as chairman of the Junior Board of the Lincoln Electric Company, and on the board of trustees of the Euclid Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of Leadership Euclid, was a former Member of the Year with the Cleveland Foreign Credit Group, and was the recipient of the C.D.G.A. Scholastic Scholarship.

The mission of the American Lung Association is to save lives through the prevention of lung disease and lung health. Originally founded in the early 1900's to fight tuberculosis, the association now is actively involved with a variety of lung health issues working through research, advocacy and education initiatives.
