William A. Rasmussen of Carthage to Serve as University of Evansville Alumni-Elected Trustee
EVANSVILLE, IN (01/17/2012)(readMedia)-- William A. Rasmussen of Carthage has been elected the University of Evansville's alumni-elected trustee, beginning in Fall 2012. Rasmussen, a 1997 graduate of the University, is a partner at Capps, Ancelet, Clark and Rasmussen. He has served on the Alumni Association Board of Directors for six years.
The alumni-elected trustee is selected by the Alumni Association Board of Directors and serves a three-year term as a full voting member of UE's Board of Trustees, the governing body for the University.
The University of Evansville Alumni Association Board of Directors represents the alumni at large and serves as an advisory board to the University and the Board of Trustees. The Alumni Board fosters long-term relationships, involvement, and support of the University. The nominating committee of the board strives for a diverse membership in terms of class year, major, geographic location, activities, gender, and race when selecting new directors for the 36-member voting body.
