William Peace University Singers To Perform Spring Concert

RALEIGH, NC (03/05/2013)(readMedia)-- William Peace University (http://www.peace.edu), a private four-year university located in downtown Raleigh, has announced that the William Peace University Singers will perform their spring concert on Wednesday, March 27. The concert, held at the school's Kenan Auditorium, is scheduled to run from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and features a 21-member vocal ensemble.

Erica Saraceno, a B.S. Biology major, will perform as an alto in the Spring Concert. Saraceno has been performing with the William Peace Singers since Fall 2011.

The William Peace University Singers are a musical staple of William Peace University and have performed across the Triangle in a variety of showcases including the 2013 North Carolina Governor's Inaugural Ball, ABC11, the Benefit Concert for Jason and Jessica Beyer, the North Carolina Heritage Calendar Gala, the Wake County Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony, the Wake County First Responder's Appreciation Breakfast and more. Formed in fall of 2011, the William Peace University Singers repertoire includes jazz, contemporary, swing, classical, country, gospel, Broadway, and pop. Led by Julie E. Ricciardi, Vice President for the Office of Engagement, the troupe represents some of the best and brightest students from a variety of majors and areas of study.
