Woburn resident honored at Saint Anselm College for inspiring work in classroom
Marla C. Pascucci-Byrne, of Woburn, was honored recently by the Alumni Council of her alma mater, Saint Anselm College.
MANCHESTER, NH (01/12/2012)(readMedia)-- Marla C. Pascucci-Byrne, of Woburn, was honored recently by the Alumni Council of her alma mater, Saint Anselm College. She received the John F. Barry Spirit of Saint Anselm College Award for her inspiring work in the classroom and the community, and her loyalty to the college.
The 1993 graduate of Saint Anselm, where she studied English, teaches at Austin Preparatory School in Reading, Mass. She also has been an adjunct English professor at Bentley University for the last six years, and is pursuing a Ph.D. in English at Northeastern University.
While at Saint Anselm, she performed in the student drama company and is now a dance director at Austin Prep. She returns to Saint Anselm to perform in the Abbey Players anniversary celebrations.
Saint Anselm College is a liberal arts college in the Catholic, Benedictine tradition, which prepares nearly 2,000 undergraduates for graduate school and careers on a 400-acre campus outside Manchester, N.H.
