NOTES: | The Lincoln’s Challenge program began in 1993 as a pilot program to determine if a highly-structured environment, using a military model, could significantly improve coping skills and employ the ability of high school dropouts. As of December 2014, there have been 14,230 cadets who have graduated from LCA with 70 percent of the cadets receiving their GEDs and 8 percent of the graduates joining the military services. |
