York College graduate student Kelli Eldredge to present poster at nursing conference

YORK, PA (02/27/2013)(readMedia)-- Kelli Eldredge of Dover, a student in York College's Doctor of Nursing Practice program, will present in the Early Doctoral Poster Session at the Eastern Nursing Research Society Conference in Boston in April. She will present a poster titled "Integrating Quality and Safety Education into Baccalaureate Nursing Curriculum Through a Dedicated Education Unit." Her project aims to ultimately improve new graduate nurses' knowledge and skills related to patient safety outcomes by infusing quality and safety competencies into the nursing curriculum via an intentional staff nurse-student nurse partnership.
