At the Lock Haven University ROTC commissioning ceremony on May 8, 2010, Zachary A. Brown of Etters, Pa. was commissioned as Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.  Brown, who received his B.S. in Criminal Justice, is the son of Thomas and Laurie Brown.

The official party consisted of Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Loren, Professor of Military Science; Dr. Keith T. Miller, President of Lock Haven University; Dr. Linda Koch, Vice President for Student Affairs and Mr. William Hanelly, Vice President for Finance, Administration, and Technology.

The guest speaker was Lock Haven University's President, Dr. Keith T. Miller.
