Zachary Nixon awarded a Fulbright scholarship

GRANVILLE, OH (07/15/2011)(readMedia)-- The Fulbright Program has awarded recent Denison University graduate, Zachary Nixon of Kirkwood, Mo. (63122), a prestigious Fulbright Scholarship. He was selected as a Pädagogischer Austauschdienst English Teaching Assistant in Germany. Nixon holds degrees in German and economics from Denison. Hetterich is one of six Denison students to be honored this year with a Fulbright scholarship.

The Fulbright Program was established in 1946, as an international education exchange program sponsored by the U.S. government. According to their website, the program is designed to "increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries."
