ALBANY, NY (03/01/2011)(readMedia)-- Zeroenergy, along with various other sponsors, is pleased to sponsor a Community Fundraiser to benefit local charities on Saturday March 5, 2011 at the RPI Tech Park in North Greenbush. Zeroenergy is under the direction of President George Keleshian. George is the President of One Energy and Chief Executive Officer of Zeroenergy Building Inc.,and has been involved with the designing, planning and construction management of more than 100 alternative, renewable, and fuel-less power energy projects for over 40 years. In 1975 he received a MS degree from Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute. He was the president of Protect Your Environment, and cofounder of NYPIRG at Capital District Colleges. He edited and produced a film and pamphlets featuring environmental world leaders at The Institute of Man and Science for WMHT Channel 17. George's desire was to be a blessing and do something for the community, so he started the Seeds of Peace "Cultivating Positive Change." The Celebration-Silent Auction will be held on Saturday March 5, 2011 from 5pm to 10:00pm at the RPI Tech Park in North Greenbush. The proceeds will benefit the (PLS) Power, Love and Sound Mind Corporation as well as well as the JC Club in Albany and the Peace through Soccer program. The funds raised and donated to the various charities will help to provide affordable housing in Albany, food to children in Albany, it will help to provide wells for drinking water in Africa as well as sports and equipment to Third World Countries.
The night will include food provided by various caterers, silent auction items donated by businesses throughout the area. Speakers will include: Assemblyman Jack McEneny and Congressman Paul Tonko. Albany Common Council President Carolyn McLaughlin.
