Zumba Class at WKCTC Begins in January

PADUCAH, KY (12/05/2018) The New Year will bring a fun way to get in shape after the holidays with a 12-week Zumba class at West Kentucky Community and Technical College.

The class will meet Monday evenings between January 7 and April 8, 2019, from 4:45-5:45 p.m. in Haws Gymnasium. The cost for the 12-week class is $20. Robin Mowers will be the Zumba instructor.

The class will not meet on January 21 and February 18 due to campus being closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and Presidents' Day.

Zumba is a dance fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance in an effort to make exercise fun! The music has beat and tempo changes that move the workout from one toning, strengthening, or cardio move to another, and targets every major muscle group in the body. Zumba uses dance styles such as Salsa, Merengue, Mambo, Hip Hop, Tango and more.
