Three Commercial Litigation Attorneys Are Added to the Syracuse Office
SYRACUSE, NY (09/25/2007; 1233)(readMedia)-- Anne M. Burak, Ellen Kimatian Eagen, and John M. Nichols join the Syracuse office of Hiscock & Barclay, LLP as Associate Attorneys.
Burak (Liverpool resident and Camillus native) concentrates her practice in the area of commercial litigation. Burak, whose admission to the New York State Bar is pending, is a graduate of the University at Buffalo Law School, The State University of New York, J.D. 2007, the State University of New York at Buffalo, M.B.A. 2007, and Siena College, B.A. 2003.
Eagen (City of Syracuse resident and Baltimore native) focuses her practice on commercial litigation and First Amendment and media law. Eagen is an experienced litigator. She has represented corporate clients, non-profit entities, and individuals in state and federal court and in American Arbitration Association and administrative proceedings. Her practice includes Pro bono service with a focus on areas relating to children and education.
Eagen is admitted to practice in California, and the U.S. District Court, Central, Eastern and Northern Districts of California. Her admission to the New York State Bar is pending. She is a graduate of Cornell University Law School, J.D., 2003, and Princeton University, A.B. 1991, cum laude. Prior to joining Hiscock & Barclay, LLP, Eagen was a litigation associate at Morrison and Foerster, LLP in San Francisco, California.
Nichols (Skaneateles resident) focuses his practice on commercial litigation including intellectual property litigation. He is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law, J.D. 2007 where he was the Lead Articles Editor of the Journal of International Law and Commerce, and Middlebury College, B.A. 2003. His admission to the New York State Bar is pending.
