Other Fuel Services and Restaurants Remain Available
ALBANY, NY (04/02/2008; 0826)(readMedia)-- The New York State Thruway Authority announced that diesel fuel services at the Ontario Travel Plaza, located westbound between Interchanges 46 (Rochester) and 47 (Leroy), at milepost 376, are temporarily suspended. Other fuel and restaurant services remain available.
Westbound vehicles in need of diesel fuel are advised to stop at the Seneca Travel Plaza located approximately 26 miles prior to the Ontario Travel Plaza, between Interchanges 44 (Canandaigua) and 45 (Rochester I-490), at milepost 350. The next travel plaza beyond Ontario Travel Plaza is the Clarence Travel Plaza, located approximately 36 miles past the Ontario Travel Plaza, between Interchanges 48A (Pembroke) and 49 (Depew), at milepost 412.
The Authority has activated Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) just prior to the Seneca Ponds Travel Plaza to inform westbound motorists that there is no diesel fuel at the Ontario Travel Plaza.
Diesel fuel services will be available at the Ontario Travel Plaza as soon as conditions permit.
The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience at this time.
