Goodell and Dunlap Shorthorn Breeders Top State Fair Show

DES MOINES, IA (08/22/2008; 1715)(readMedia)-- Ashley Hunter of Goodell exhibited the Grand Champion Female in the Shorthorn Show Friday, August 15, at the 2008 Iowa State Fair. The April heifer was also the Iowa Champion Female in the day's show.

Cyclone Trace Cattle Co. of Clarion earned the Reserve Grand Champion Female banner.

Sullivan Farms of Dunlap captured the Grand Champion and Iowa Champion Bull titles, while Studer Shorthorns of Creston showed the Reserve Grand Champion Bull.

The Iowa Champion banners are given to the highest placing Iowa bred and owned entries in the show.
